A jet skier was injured in an accident Sunday in Sandy Hook Bay, and had to be evacuated to a nearby hospital by helicopter.
KEANSBURG, NJ — A jet skier was injured in an accident Sunday in Sandy Hook Bay, and had to be evacuated to a nearby hospital by helicopter, according to Keansburg EMTs.
The man was pulled ashore in Keansburg. Although the extent of his injuries — and exactly what happened are still unknown — he was injured badly enough that he needed to be rushed by North Star helicopter to a local hospital, said EMTs.
Keansburg's all-volunteer EMS team responded to get the jet skier out of the water and off the beach. Monoc paramedics also responded.
