Tinton Falls Man Killed In Parkway Crash Friday Morning

Police say a Buick Roadmaster was traveling in the express lanes south when it ran off the left side of the road and struck several trees.

TINTON FALLS, NJ — A lone driver was killed at 4:11 a.m. Friday in a crash on the Garden State Parkway in the area of Tinton Falls, according to New Jersey State Police.

The deceased was identified as Victor Munoz, 70, of Tinton Falls.

The crash occurred on the Parkway south in the area of milepost 105.6.

Police say a Buick Roadmaster was traveling in the express lanes south when it ran off the left side of the road and struck several trees. The driver was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

There were no other occupants in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
