Middletown Helps Its Own Helps 350 Local Families This Thanksgiving
Middletown volunteer firefighters and EMS dropped off food boxes to 350 local families this past Saturday. Food was collected by IMA:
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — For the sixth year in a row, Middletown residents donated Thanksgiving food this November to IMA Urgent Care/Primary Care, which in turn gave the food donations to Middletown Helps Its Own to help local families in need.
The Middletown volunteer fire department and EMS dropped off the boxes last Saturday, the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
This year, they delivered more than 350 Thanksgiving food boxes to Middletown families in need.

Middletown Helps Its Own is an all-volunteer organization that has been providing food and emergency assistance to local families for 59 years.
“The need is real, and we appreciate our patients taking the time to donate Thanksgiving food items to help our neighbors have a happy Thanksgiving,” said IMA President Dr. Roger Thompson. “It’s truly amazing to watch our Middletown neighbors take the time to donate and help others.”

IMA consists of two urgent care centers and eight primary care offices. IMA is owned and operated by local physicians who live and practice in Monmouth County.
