Middletown Home, Cars In Driveway Damaged In Fire Saturday
The main body of the fire was concentrated near the home's garbage containers and recycling area.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The exterior of a home and two parked cars in the driveway were damaged in a fire Saturday afternoon on Middletown Avenue in Middletown, said the Township's volunteer fire department.
At 3:30 p.m. Saturday, the Middletown Township Fire Department was dispatched to the 20-block of Middletown Ave. for an outside fire extending to the home and two cars parked in the driveway.
The Navesink and Community fire companies were initially dispatched, but due to the amount of phone calls received and confirmation from the first arriving police officer that the house was indeed on fire; Chief William Kane Jr. immediately upgraded the fire department response by adding Brevent Park Fire Company, the Middletown Air and Safety Units as well as the Middletown Fire Marshal’s Office.
