Middletown Police Blotter, Jan. 1 - Jan. 13

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The following contains the arrests and police activities for the Middletown Twp. Police Department during the time period of January 1, 2018 through January 13, 2018:

Police officers arrested 52 individuals, including for 26 outstanding bench warrants and two for domestic violence. Arrests are as follows:

Christian Mead, age 28, from Keyport, was arrested by Ptl. John Soltysik for a contempt of court warrant. Mead was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Steven Buscar, age 25, from Sayreville, was arrested by Ptl. Frank Mazza for driving while intoxicated. Buscar was processed and released on a summons complaint.

John Gerlich, age 41, from Bayville, was arrested by Ptl. Daniel Benbrook for a contempt of court warrant. Gerlich was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Michael Carrick, age 19, from Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Brian Macdonald for possession of marijuana in an amount under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Carrick was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Liam Honnen, age 20, from Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Brian Macdonald for possession of marijuana in amount under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Honnen was processed and released on a summons complaint.

William Schumitz, age 49, from Port Monmouth, was arrested by Ptl. Christopher Menedez for obstructing the administration of the law and resisting arrest. Schumitz was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Michael McCullough, age 35, from Leonardo, was arrested by Ptl. Patrick Leonard for obstructing the administration of the law, hindering apprehension, driving with a suspended license. McCullough was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Damarcus Hinton, age 24, from Keansburg, was arrested by Ptl. Eric VanSchaack for a contempt of court warrant. Hinton was processed and released after posting bail.

Dennis Bussanich, age 36, from Fort Lee, was arrested by Ptl. Eric VanSchaack for possession of drug paraphernalia. Bussanich was processed and released on a summons complaint.

George Paneque, age 34, from Cliffside Park, was arrested by Ptl. Eric VanSchaack for possession of drug paraphernalia. Paneque was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Stephen Terry, age 32, from Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Adam Colfer for assaulting a police officer, obstructing the administration of the law, and resisting arrest. Terry was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Ricardo Rojas, age 36, from Red Bank, was arrested by Ptl. Greg Buhowski for a contempt of court warrant. Rojas was processed and released after posting bail.

Diamond Washington, age 22, from Neptune Twp., was arrested by Ptl. Nicholas Manochio for a contempt of court warrant, possession of marijuana in an amount under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Washington was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Shawn Dyson, age 25, from Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Brian Macdonald for contempt of court warrants and hindering apprehension. Dyson was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Sarah Grahamer, age 31, from Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Stephanie Geisel for contempt of court warrants. Grahamer was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Kahn Austin, age 48, from Neptune Township, was arrested by Ptl. Eric Van Schaack for contempt of court warrants. Austin was processed and held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Matthew Greenblatt, age 22, from Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Larisa Doriety for criminal mischief and disorderly behavior. Greenblatt was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Stephon Vaxter, age 31, from Matawan, was arrested by Ptl. Kevin Mahon for a contempt of court warrant. Vaxter was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Julee Appel, age 40, from Keansburg, was arrested by Corporal Robert McNair for contempt of court warrants. Appel was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Vasilios Malakatas, age 26, from Ronkonkoma, NY, was arrested by Ptl. Michael Allen for driving while intoxicated. Malakatas was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Michael Burns, age 38, from Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Eric Kalakutok for contempt of court warrants. Burns was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

During the period of January 1, 2018 through January 13, 2018 the Middletown Twp. Police Department responded to 1,657 calls for service, including 139 first aid calls, 38 motor vehicle crashes and 87 burglary and fire alarms.
