During the period of May 20, 2018 through June 2, 2018, the Middletown Twp. Police Department responded to 2,071 calls for service, including 176 first aid calls, 116 burglar alarms, and 90 motor vehicle crashes.
Police officers arrested 60 individuals, including 20 for outstanding bench warrants and 3 for domestic violence.

Matthew Dirusso, age 28, from Staten Island, NY, was arrested by Officer Thomas Walden for possession of marijuana in an amount under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dirusso was processed and released on a summons complaint.
Pedro Santiago, age 23, from Matawan, was arrested by Officer Brady Carr for a contempt of court warrant. Santiago was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
