During the period of May 20, 2018 through June 2, 2018, the Middletown Twp. Police Department responded to 2,071 calls for service, including 176 first aid calls, 116 burglar alarms, and 90 motor vehicle crashes.

Police officers arrested 60 individuals, including 20 for outstanding bench warrants and 3 for domestic violence.

Matthew Dirusso, age 28, from Staten Island, NY, was arrested by Officer Thomas Walden for possession of marijuana in an amount under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dirusso was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Pedro Santiago, age 23, from Matawan, was arrested by Officer Brady Carr for a contempt of court warrant. Santiago was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Irene Kelly, age 70, from Holmdel, was arrested by Officer Jesse Toma for driving under the influence. Kelly was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Nicole Dougherty, age 37, from Highlands, was arrested by Officer Thomas Walden for contempt of court warrants. Dougherty was processed and released after posting bail.

Carl Hosier, age 50, from Hazlet, was arrested by Officer Christian Clark for theft. Hosier was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Shawn Dyson, age 25, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Felipe Caamano for a contempt of court warrant. Dyson was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Edmond Alexander, age 19, from Perth Amboy, was arrested by Officer Ryan Pigott for underage possession of alcohol. Alexander was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Aaron Montoya, age 19, from Perth Amboy, was arrested by Officer Ryan Pigott for possession of marijuana in an amount under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Montoya was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Lacey Wipperman, age 33, from Highlands, was arrested by Officer Bernard Chenoweth for a contempt of court warrant. Wipperman was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Buff Anderson, age 23, from Red Bank, was arrested by Officer Sal Albanese for a contempt of court warrant. Anderson was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Melvin Bethea, age 66, from Perth Amboy was arrested by Officer Elzbieta Banel for a contempt of court warrant, possession of marijuana in an amount under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence. Bethea was processed and released on a summons complaint.
