Middletown Teen Chosen As Back-Up Dancer For Disney Star
Middletown North sophomore Brooke Rotondo was recently selected as a back-up dancer for Disney star and singer/performer Meredith O'Connor.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Local Middletown town Brooke Rotondo was recently selected as a back-up dancer for Disney star and singer/performer Meredith O'Connor.
O'Connor and the dancers recently performed at the Carol Galvin Foundation Gala event during New York Fashion Week in New York City at the Playstation Theater to raise money for the benefit of two women battling cancer. Meredith is also a huge anti-bullying activist and performed two of her hit anti-bullying songs.

Brooke is 15 and is in tenth grade at Middletown North. She has been dancing since the age of three and, while she currently does not dance exclusively at any one studio, she takes various training in the area with different programs. She trained in dance for over 12 years with Not Your Ordinary Dancers in Middletown, where she studied all genres of dance from hip hop, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical and musical theatre.

She currently studies ballet training with Not Your Ordinary Dancers under the direction of Katya Strelnikova.
