Minor Injuries After Truck Backs Into Person In Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A person sustained minor injuries on Friday in Middletown after they were accidentally struck by a truck they were loading materials onto, according to Middletown police.

The accident happened Friday afternoon in the Port Monmouth section: Two people were loading materials into a truck. Later, one person was struck by the truck when it was backing up, said Lt. Paul Bailey of the Middletown police. The person who was struck sustained minor injuries, however, Middletown EMS was called to the scene.
