Monmouth County 4-H Spring Livestock Expo

Bring the kids to meet lambs, piglets and more at the 4-H Spring Livestock Expo on Saturday, May 13 at Thompson Park.

LINCROFT, NJ — The Monmouth County 4-H Livestock Club and the Monmouth County Park System invites area residents to a Spring Livestock Expo from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 at Thompson Park, Newman Springs Road in Lincroft. Children are invited to pet animals, play games, and make crafts.

Activities are free and sponsored by the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Monmouth County 4-H Youth Development. 4-H is a community where members learn through completing hands-on projects in areas of health, science, agriculture and citizenship. During these projects, they are guided and encouraged by adult mentors.

In addition to the Spring Livestock Expo, the Monmouth County Park System and the R.C.E of Monmouth County 4-H Youth Development also team up to present the annual Monmouth County Fair each summer. This year’s dates are Wednesday-Sunday, July 26-30.
