Monmouth County Now At 647 Cases, Six Deaths
The PNC Bank testing center in Holmdel will also now be testing 500 people a day, up from 250.
MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — As of Friday afternoon, Monmouth County is now at 647 positive cases for the coronavirus/Covid-19, according to Monmouth County Freeholders.
Six Monmouth County residents have died of the virus, according to officials. They did not say in which towns those residents died.
Health officials warned for weeks that positive cases would skyrocket as the U.S. does increased testing. The U.S. has reportedly done more coronavirus testing than any other nation in the world.

Starting Saturday, March 28, and every Saturday to follow, the FEMA-run testing site at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel will only be open to healthcare workers and first responders who show symptoms. Credentials will be checked.
Testing capabilities at the site have also been expanded: The Holmdel site will now perform 500 tests per day instead of the 250 tests they had been doing daily.
