Pedestrian Hit By Car On Rt. 36 In Highlands

A pedestrian was struck by a car on Hwy. 36 southbound in Highlands at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.

HIGHLANDS, NJ — A pedestrian was struck by a car on Hwy. 36 southbound at Linden Avenue in Highlands, according to the NJ Department of Transportation.

The DOT tweeted this at 6:49 p.m. Wednesday.

All lanes of Rt. 36 south in the area of Linden Avenue were closed, with the DOT telling drivers to follow the detour or plan alternate route and expect delays.
