MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Meet the Democrat and Republican slates running for Middletown Township Committee this evening, Tuesday, Oct. 23 in a Q&A forum at Lincroft Elementary, sponsored by the Lincroft Village Green Association.

The Republican slate running for Middletown Township Committee is Tony Perry, Rick Hibell and Pat Snell. They are all running to keep their seats on the Township Committee, positions none of them were actually elected to.

Snell was appointed to fill former mayor Stephanie Murray's spot when she resigned; Hibell was appointed to Gerry Scharfenberger's seat when he became a Monmouth County freeholder and Scharfenberg's son-in-law Tony Perry was appointed to replace Stephen Massell after he was named to Monmouth County Tax Board.
