Raid Yields 200 Bags Of Heroin At Keyport Home, Prosecutor Says

A Keyport home was raided last Wednesday and a 29-year-old local woman was arrested.

KEYPORT, NJ — Last Wednesday, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office raided a suspected heroin house in Keyport, and found over 200 bags of the drug inside, the county prosecutor said. A woman living there was also arrested.

The search warrant was executed Wednesday, June 21 at at a home at the corner of Broadway and West First Street in Keyport. After a month-long narcotics distribution investigation, Christine Gomez, 29, of Keyport, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of heroin possession and drug selling charges. More than two hundred bags of heroin and $210 were seized.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor thanked the Matawan and Keyport police for their assistance during the investigation and with the execution of the search warrant.
