Vaccines Still Available At Brookdale Community College

There have been 194 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Monmouth County between Monday and Thursday of this week.

LINCROFT, NJ —After months of cases being low, coronavirus cases are now surging again: There have been 194 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Monmouth County between Monday, July 19 and Thursday, July 22.

During that same time period, there have been two deaths being reported related to coronavirus.

Compare that to June 7, when there were 13 new cases a day; June 16 when there were 14 new cases a day and June 23, when there were 12 new cases a day.

Monmouth County has COVID-19 vaccines available at Brookdale Community College with no appointment necessary on Tuesdays from 2 to 6 p.m.

Vaccines are available for residents who are at least 12 years old and live, work or attend school in Monmouth County. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For more information, go to www.visitmonmouth.com.

Monmouth County will offer free COVID-19 testing on Wednesday, July 28 in Freehold Borough from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Freehold Boro Dire Dept, located at 49 West Main Street. Visitors should note the clinic has 200 tests and once those are administered, the clinic will close for the day.

There will also be a limited number of vaccines available at the Freehold site for those who wish to receive it.
