Other Essex County school districts to place on the top #100 list in New Jersey included Livingston, the West Essex Regional School District (North Caldwell), Montclair, South Orange-Maplewood, Verona, West Orange, Caldwell-West Caldwell and Bloomfield.

Niche’s data for its K-12 school district rankings comes from various sources, including the U.S. Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics and the Civil Rights Data Collection.
