Millburn Teachers, BOE Continue Contract Talks
Members of the Millburn Education Association have been working without a contract since June 2017.

MILLBURN, NJ — Another meeting has passed between Millburn’s educational staff and Board of Education without a work agreement, which may leave the district’s teachers, paraprofessionals and secretaries without a contract as the school year winds down to a close.
Last week, the Millburn Education Association (MEA) – which represents the above positions in the district – met with the local board of education and a state-appointed mediator, but were unable to reach a deal, NorthJersey.com reported.
Members of the MEA have been working without a contract since June 2017. Issues have included salary and health benefits, TAP Into Millburn/Short Hills previously reported.
