The tax levy will be set a 0.01 cents per $100 of assessed property value for 2016.

The levy was first established by voter referendum in 1998, and extended through a series of referendums since.

Council will also introduce a resolution to exceed the budget appropriation limits and establish a cap bank. The resolution is typically adopted annually by municipalities when the budget is introduced.

There will also be a public hearing on amendments to the existing noise ordinance, first introduced on April 11.

There will also be an update on the temporary treatment at the North Church Street Water Treatment Plant, and a discussion on a possible no smoking ordinance.

There are also 11 items on the consent agenda.
