Singleton, a graduate of Rowan College at Burlington County’s Supply Chain Management program, has been a driver since 2015. However, over the past several weeks, his position has gained new meaning, as he delivers medical equipment to hospitals throughout New York City. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic has hit close to home for him, as both his mother and grandmother were diagnosed with new coronavirus.
Conte, Director of Logistics and Operations at Holman Parts Distribution (an RCBC employer partner), supports 7,000 employees working remotely across the country. He’ll speak to the benefits of recession-proof careers and how the logistics sector has been impacted by the pandemic.

The college launched the series to help the public learn more about the virus. The first six sessions explored the impact of coronavirus on mental health; provided insight into the pandemic from Dr. Helene Paxton, who teaches Microbiology, and Anatomy and Physiology at the college; gave college nursing students the chance to share their experiences from the front lines fighting the virus; how to stay connected despite Gov. Phil Murphy's stay-at-home order; exploring the arts while quarantined; and getting food during the coronavirus quarantine. During the most recent session, a student and a professor discussed making face masks.
