Learn About Running For Office In Moorestown Feb. 11

The Moorestown Democrats will host an informational session at Lutheran Crossings.

MOORESTOWN — Anyone who has ever considered running for office but didn’t know how to get started has the chance to learn more about the process in Moorestown later this month. The Moorestown Democratic Club will host an informational and networking event focused on running for public office on Feb. 11, 1 p.m. to 3:30 PM at Lutheran Crossings, 255 E. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ 08057.

The event is free and open to the public. Guest Speakers will include:
District Director Mary Cruz;
Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-1);
Moorestown Councilwoman Lisa Petriello;
Burlington County Freeholder Balvir Singh; and
JRS Strategies President Jason Springer.

Partnering organizations include Action Together Burlington County, Burlington County Young Democrats, and the Burlington County Democratic Committee.

“Civic engagement, particularly at local and regional levels, is more important now than ever,” Petriello said. “Events like this are a great way to get engaged, learn how the candidacy and election process works, and meet elected officials and experts from our area to share experiences.”
