Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, NJ, and Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro, NJ, recently held its annual one-day nursing camp for teens age 12- to 14-years-old.    Teens had the opportunity to learn about nursing and healthcare careers, tour the hospital and interact with a variety of healthcare professionals.     Pictured: Lourdes nurses (left) Connie Huelster and (right) Glenda Haller-Baird, director of Perioperative Services and Wound Care, teach Shannon Emmett about the many duties nurses perform in the operating room. The Rutgers Master Gardener Program of Burlington County will be giving 3 presentations on Saturday, May 9 at the opening of the Burlington County Farmers Market at the Burlington County Agricultural Center located at 500 Centerton Road in Moorestown NJ.
The presentations are:
9:30 am - 10:15 am - The Basic Care and Growing of Fig Trees (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee is required).
10:30 am to 11:15 am - Composting (no registration or fee).
11:30 am - 12:15 pm - The Basic Care and Growing of Hydrangeas (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee required).
All three presentations are near or at the Rutgers Demonstration plots (to the right of the Big Red Barn, next to the Community Gardens).
