One new board member was projected to join the Moorestown Board of Education after Tuesday night's elections

MOORESTOWN, NJ — With 19 out of 20 precincts reporting late Tuesday night, one new member was expected to be elected to the Moorestown Board of Education after elections Tuesday night, according to the county clerk.
A cartridge malfunction prevented the fully tally of all votes cast Tuesday night, according to the Burlington County Clerk's Office. The votes associated with that cartridge were being counted, but full results still had not been posted as of 8 p.m. Wednesday night. After full results are posted, provisional and mail-in-ballots will be counted. Results will remain unofficial until certified by the county clerk.
Board President Sandra Alberti and Board Member Mark Villanueva, as well as challenger Mark Snyder, were expected to win three open seats on the Moorestown Public School District's Board of Education, according to unofficial results posted on the Burlington County Clerk's website. Maurice Weeks was also running for re-election.
