MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown Council unanimously passed a resolution to extend the grace period for third quarter taxes at its meeting Monday night at town hall. The grace period was extended from Aug. 10 to Sept. 1. The extension of the grace period is a normal thing for the third quarter, according to Township Manager Tom Merchel.
It was one of six items considered as part of Monday night’s Consent Agenda.
Council also passed a resolution authorizing a $33,547.75 contract with Sportsfield Specialties for the purchase and installation of athletic field safety netting at the turf fields at Wesley Bishop Park.
