Moorestown Council To Hold First Budget Workshop Before Monday Night's Council Meeting
The budget workshop is at 5 p.m., followed by the council meeting at 7 p.m.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — This week’s Moorestown Council meeting will be preceded by a budget workshop.
The first budget workshop of the year will take place on Monday night, April 3, 5 p.m., in the donut room at town hall, 111 West Second Street.
That workshop will be followed by the council meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. The official action meeting will begin at 7 p.m., and there will be no workshop session.
There are no ordinances to be discussed on first or second reading, and there are just two items on the consent agenda.

The first authorizes the temporary closure and detour of Chester Avenue for water main replacement.
The second authorizes an emergency purchase and services contract for the replacement of the boiler in the North Church Street Recreation Center.

Council has also scheduled its second budget workshop session, for Monday morning, April 10, 8:30 a.m. in the donut room at town hall. More budget workshops will be scheduled based on the progress made in the first two.
