Council will consider a resolution to participate in NJDOT's Transportation Alternative Program.

Moorestown, NJ -- Moorestown Council will consider a resolution to join the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s (NJDOT) Transportation Alternatives Grant Program during a special meeting Thursday morning, the township announced on Monday.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, Nov. 10, 8:30 a.m. at town hall, 111 West Second Street, in council chambers.
The Transportation Alternatives Program was established by Congress in 2012, and sets aside federal funds for community based "non-traditional" projects designed to strengthen the cultural, aesthetic and environmental aspects of the nation's intermodal system.
