Moorestown Friends Alum Turned Author Visits School Tuesday
Neil Numberman will lead students in drawing workshops and sign books on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

A successful writer and illustrator who graduated from Moorestown Friends School in 1999 returns to the school to make a presentation to students this week.
Brian Weaver goes by the name Neil Numberman in the publishing world. He will visit the school for a full day on Tuesday, Oct. 21, to lead students in drawing workshops and to sign books.
He will make a presentation to students in Grades 1-5 and sign books for MFS students in the school library.

His titles include: A Valentine’s Surprise, Do NOT Build a Frankenstein, and Flip & Fin: We Rule the School!
The majority of his books are geared toward ages 4-and-up, with the exception of his Joey Fly, Private Eye graphic fiction series, which is written for older elementary school children.

He has also worked as a freelance artist for Microsoft, MTV’s Liquid Television, and ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition .
He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2006 and resides in Brooklyn.
