Moorestown Patch Letter To The Editor: BOE President Shouldn't Rub Elbows With Politicians

Nicholas Sullivan writes that BOE members should remain non-partisan.

To the Editor:

I wanted to state my opinion about something I have noticed in my community. As a resident of Moorestown, I find it troubling that our Board of Education (BOE) President is posing in pictures with local and non local political candidates up for reelection.

My understanding is that our BOE is to remain non partisan. The quality of our schools and the decision making of our BOE should be in the best interest of our children and never tied to politics.

I would hope in the future the members of our BOE refrain from politicking and focus on doing what is best for our kids, leave the politics at the door.

Sincerely,
