My name is Jack Hall, I am a Vietnam veteran and I was the driving force behind the dedication of the fields in 2010. Believe me when I say that no one is more attached to the meaning of those fields than myself. After several meetings with our mayor, our deputy mayor and members of town council I am fully confident that our leaders have the best interest of all veterans in their plans for the future of those fields. I am not going to discuss those plans in this open forum, but rest assured that veterans from all eras should be thrilled. Should anyone care to discuss with me one on one I am always available.

The Rutgers Master Gardener Program of Burlington County will be giving 3 presentations on Saturday, May 9 at the opening of the Burlington County Farmers Market at the Burlington County Agricultural Center located at 500 Centerton Road in Moorestown NJ.
The presentations are:
9:30 am - 10:15 am - The Basic Care and Growing of Fig Trees (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee is required).
10:30 am to 11:15 am - Composting (no registration or fee).
11:30 am - 12:15 pm - The Basic Care and Growing of Hydrangeas (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee required).
All three presentations are near or at the Rutgers Demonstration plots (to the right of the Big Red Barn, next to the Community Gardens).
