Moorestown Business Association's 12th Annual Moorestown Halloween Parade is this Sunday, October 23rd. Costumed children and parents are invited to assemble at the PNC Bank Parking lot near Carl's Shoes at 2:45 p.m. At 3:00, we will march up Main Street to Stokes Hill where events and entertainment will be held until dusk.     Prizes will be awarded in costume categories including: Cutest, Family/Group, Funniest/Most Creative, Best Look-Alike, Scariest, and Sports. A DJ will be playing fun, seasonal music while children and families take part in activities such as a Moonbounce, Face Painting, and Balloon Sculptures. Candy bags will be distributed to the kids. The Rutgers Master Gardener Program of Burlington County will be giving 3 presentations on Saturday, May 9 at the opening of the Burlington County Farmers Market at the Burlington County Agricultural Center located at 500 Centerton Road in Moorestown NJ.
The presentations are:
9:30 am - 10:15 am - The Basic Care and Growing of Fig Trees (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee is required).
10:30 am to 11:15 am - Composting (no registration or fee).
11:30 am - 12:15 pm - The Basic Care and Growing of Hydrangeas (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee required).
All three presentations are near or at the Rutgers Demonstration plots (to the right of the Big Red Barn, next to the Community Gardens).
