Pair Of Bond Ordinances To Be Introduced At Moorestown Council Meeting

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown Council will consider a pair of proposed bond ordinances on introduction when it meets Monday night. The council meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at town hall, preceded by the workshop meeting at 7 p.m. Town hall is located at 111 West Second Street.
The first ordinance calls for the appropriation of $225,000, including the borrowing of $213,750 in bonds or notes for improvements to recreation centers.
The other calls for the appropriation of an additional $80,000 to be used for the reconstruction of a hockey rink at Wesley Bishop Park.

There are also seven items on the consent agenda, including a $193,585.10 contract with GranTurk Equipment Company, Inc. for the purchase and delivery of a street sweeper.
Another calls for the expenditure of $6,703.38 from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund for consulting services related to the development and implementation of a housing plan for Moorestown. A separate resolution calls for the expenditure of $2,427.50 from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund for consulting services related to the development and implementation of a housing plan for Moorestown.
