The event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, 5 p.m. in the Votta Hall Auditorium on the Mount Laurel Campus, college officials announced.The event, sponsored by the college's Debate Club, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Criminal Justice Club, will feature officials in local, county and state government in a panel discussion moderated by Rowan College at Burlington County Political Science Professor Kenneth Mariano. The Rutgers Master Gardener Program of Burlington County will be giving 3 presentations on Saturday, May 9 at the opening of the Burlington County Farmers Market at the Burlington County Agricultural Center located at 500 Centerton Road in Moorestown NJ.
The presentations are:
9:30 am - 10:15 am - The Basic Care and Growing of Fig Trees (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee is required).
10:30 am to 11:15 am - Composting (no registration or fee).
11:30 am - 12:15 pm - The Basic Care and Growing of Hydrangeas (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee required).
All three presentations are near or at the Rutgers Demonstration plots (to the right of the Big Red Barn, next to the Community Gardens).
