Residents from The Evergreens Acting Studio Present “Hooray for Hollywood”
A select group of residents from the community have been participating in The Evergreens Acting Studio–the community's onsite theater group
Recently, resident members of The Evergreens Acting Studio were proud to present “Hooray for Hollywood” – a showcase of classic Hollywood tunes and memorable film moments – to the community.
For the past several months, a select group of residents from the community have been participating in The Evergreens Acting Studio – the community’s onsite theater group, led/directed by Robb Hutter of Philly Senior Stage. Philly Senior Stage’s unique program is specifically catered to senior adults and helps develop acting skills and foster dramatic expression. For members of The Evergreens Acting Studio, “Hooray for Hollywood” is the culmination of many months of training under Hutter and the final performance of the season.
“There are many ways residents at our community can remain active and continue to express themselves from a creative perspective,” said Lauren Coleman, Director of Recreation and Wellness at The Evergreens. “Residents have loved being involved in the Acting Studio and appreciate the guidance and experience Robb brings to the table from all his work with Philly Senior Stage. Our dedicated residents have worked hard this season and we are thrilled to see all of their efforts come together in their third production, ‘Hooray for Hollywood.’”
