Special Meetings On Budget, Affordable Housing Set For Moorestown
A total of six additional special meetings have been scheduled throughout the month of April.
MOORESTOWN, NJ - Moorestown Council announced the dates and times for six special meetings that will take place in April Monday afternoon. Four of the meetings will be closed session meetings in which officials will discuss litigation related to affordable housing. The other two are budget workshops.
The closed session affordable housing meetings will all take place at 8:30 a.m. in the donut room at town hall on April 8, 15, 22 and 29. No formal action will be taken at any of the meetings, according to the notice. There was already one closed session meeting on the issue that was scheduled for April 1.
- Wednesday, April 10: 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at town hall; and
- Friday, April 12: 8 a.m. in the council chambers at town hall.
The proposed 2019 budget will be discussed, and there will be a public comment portion at each meeting.

The first two budget workshops are scheduled for this week. The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 6:30 p.m. at town hall. The second is slated for Thursday, April 4, 8 a.m. at town hall. Both meetings will also take place in council chambers.
Town hall is located at 111 West Second Street.
