PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A wildfire near the Browns Mills Arms Apartments in Pemberton Township was brought under control over the weekend, the township said.
Patch first reported on the wildfire on Friday.
Crews were able to contain the wildfire at seven acres, and there were no evacuations needed nor any threat to any structures, according to Pemberton Township.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the wildfire was not released.
At least two other significant wildfires have occurred in Burlington County this year.

The Mullica River Fire broke out June 19 and burned about 13,500 acres before it reached 95 percent containment, while the Maple Branch Fire started July 12 and burned approximately 100 acres before being considered contained, according to officials.
