Bill Griese's Second CD Debuts Saturday

Morris Plains singer will introduce new music at Dark Horse Lounge on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Morris Plains resident whose song "Zoom" was recently featured on a , will debut his second album, "Too Long Coming," with at  in Morristown.

The album, which features the song "Zoom," is the follow-up to Griese's 2003 debut, "For This Day." 

Produced by John Ginty, whose musical credits include Jewel and Santana, "Too Long Coming" was inspired by the sounds of late 70s pop rock, and features Griese's smooth vocals and acoustic guitar as well as a slew of talented musicians including Ginty on keyboards, guitarist Mark Dollar (Kool & The Gang, Lil' Wayne) and drummer Louie Appel (South Side Johnny & the Asbury Jukes), according to a press release.

Saturday night's gig will feature Griese with a full six-person band. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the event goes until 10 p.m. There is no cover charge and the performance is open to the public (21 and older).

Event-goers can purchase the CD on location for $10. After that it can be found at his website, through a number of online retailers including CDBaby.com and Amazon, and digitally on iTunes and other download merchants.
