Honeywell Makes First Biofuel Flight Over Atlantic
Flight from Morristown Airport to Paris makes history.

The Honeywell Corporation, headquartered in Morris Township, announced that its Green Jet Fuel has successfully powered the first transatlantic biofuel flight on June 18.
The flight took off from Morristown Airport and landed at Paris-Le Bourget about seven hours later.
The plane was a Gulfstream G450, operated by Honeywell. One of its engines was powered by a 50/50 blend of Honeywell Green Jet Fuel and regular jet fuel. The Green Fuel was made from camelina, a plant belonging to the mustard family.

According to a company statement, "The jet closely followed the route taken by Charles Lindbergh's famous first flight across the Atlantic."
