JCP&L: Free Water, Ice For Those Without Power

Jersey Central Power & Light customers in Sussex and Morris counties without electricity can go to the following stores for free water and ice.

JCP&L said people should identify themselves as customers without power at each stores' front desk.

As of 5 p.m. Tuesday, about 18,000 Sussex County and 35,000 Morris County customers were without electricity. Of the hardest hit were the Morristown/Morris Township area with more than 10,000 without power and Denville with nearly 4,000.
