New Program Provides Lighting

Morris Habitat for Humanity is partnering with Capitol Lighting to accept donations of gently-used lighting fixtures, lamps and fans to be used in Habitat housing or sold at the Morris group’s thrift shop.

Donors can bring the items to the four Capitol showrooms in New Jersey, in East Hanover, Paramus, Eatontown or Green Brook. In exchange, Capitol will give them a 10-percent discount on a new lighting purchase, a tax deduction from Morris Habitat for Humanity and a 10 percent discount on a purchase at the thrift shop, ReStore, of  new or gently used building supplies, windowns, furniture and appliances. Morris Habitat Re-Store is located at 103 Iron Mountain Road, Mine Hill.

The campaign is called “Making Lives Brighter” and runs through February 28, 2012.
