Screenings are Offered at Provident

In support of American Heart Month, Family First HomeCare, LLC, and CareOne at Morris are teaming up to offer free blood pressure and glucose screenings as well as nutritional information on Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m at The Provident Bank branch at 381 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains.

Light refreshments will be served.

February is American Heart Month, bringing awareness to the nationwide problem of heart disease.  Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States and high blood pressure and diabetes are among the risk factors associated with heart disease. 

CareOne at Morris, in Parsippany-Troy Hills is a seven-day per week facility for sub-acute rehabilitation, specialized clinical care or long-term care. Family First HomeCare of Morris Plains provides care for seniors at home.

This Open House is free and open to the public.
