Township Man to Host 'The Situation"

Gary Fisch of Morris Township, owner of the Gary’s Wine & Marketplace stores in Wayne, Madison and Bernardsville, will host Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino at the Wayne location on Thurs., Aug. 25 from 6-8 p.m. 

A star of the reality series "Jersey Shore," Sorrentino is a spokesman for a new vodka called Devotion. "The Sitch," known for frequently displaying his six-pack abs, will sign bottles of the new, protein-infused spirit. 

“Both the staff and I are very excited for the event.” said Fisch, “Maybe Mike “The Situation” will have some workout tips for me.”

Devotion contains two grams of casein, a milk protein, in each shot. According to the manufacturer, "This protein creates a fuller mouth feel, similar to that of Chardonnay wine." 

Fisch is a well-known wine expert in northern New Jersey, where his shops offer a large selection of fine and rare wines, along with cheeses, gourmet foods, gifts, craft beer and spirits.  

Gary's Wine & Marketplace in Wayne is located at 1308 Route 23 North.
