Infant Survives Roll-Over Crash That Kills Mother

An infant survived a crash that killed its mother Wednesday morning in Toms River. Police say the infant was found in its safety seat when emergency responders crawled inside the overturned minivan to rescue the baby. Witnesses say a first responder then carried the infant from the woods where the crash occurred.

The driver, a 28-year-old female, was pronounced dead at the scene.
