Burglary, DWI Highlight Princeton Police Report

Princeton Police release their activity report.

The following information was provided by Princeton Police:

Samuel Dewitt, 34, of Mount Holly, was found to have multiple active warrants for his arrest with a total bail of $3,578 following a traffic stop for failure to wear a seatbelt on Nassau Street on Feb. 20 at 8:51 a.m. Dewitt was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and turned over to the Westampton Township Police Department.

Lixing Feng, 28, of Princeton, was found to have an active warrant for her arrest that was issued by the Princeton Municipal Court for $500 following a random license plate inquiry on Washington Road on Feb. 20 at 11:05 p.m. The car was stopped on Washington Road, and it was confirmed that the driver was in fact the registered owner. Feng was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where she was processed and released after the bail was posted.

Mitsuru Yasuhara, 84, of Princeton, was charged with DWI, DWI in a school zone, reckless driving, careless driving and unsafe tire after a traffic stop for driving on a flat tire on Pine Street on Feb. 19 at 8:37 p.m. He was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and later released with summonses and a pending court date.

At about 7 p.m. on Feb. 17, a burglary was reported on the 100 block of Highland Terrace. The burglar had forced their way in through a side door, but it was unclear what had been stolen. The investigation is ongoing and has been turned over to the Detective Bureau for further investigation.
