First Bank welcomes Gene McCarthy into the role of first senior vice president, commercial lending team leader and market executive.
HAMILTON, N.J. –11/13/15—First Bank (NASDAQ: FRBA) welcomes Gene McCarthy into the role of first senior vice president, commercial lending team leader and market executive.
“Gene McCarthy brings invaluable expertise to all the communities that we serve,” said Patrick Ryan, CEO of First Bank. “Gene is a seasoned financial services executive with more than 30 years of experience in community banking, specifically in credit management and relationship banking with a broad knowledge of the financial services industry.”
McCarthy, who will serve in the Hamilton headquarters of First Bank, has extensive experience in community banking. Prior to joining First Bank, McCarthy spent more than two years at Peapack-Gladstone Bank where he was lead senior managing director responsible for new client acquisition. He also spent seven years at Wilmington Trust/M&T Bank managing commercial banking, lending and real estate financing activity for its startup Central New Jersey office. He also served five years at Yardville National Bank as a first senior vice president and market manager.
