Princeton Police To Enhance Patrols After Recent Overnight Car Burglaries

PRINCETON, NJ — There have been 25 overnight burglaries involving unlocked cars since March of this year, Princeton police said this week. The most recent burglaries occurred in the east section of town on Princeton-Kingston Road.

Last week, a woman reported that between 8 p.m. on May 31 and 9 a.m. on June 1, $9 in cash and a checkbook were stolen from her unlocked car while it was parked in the driveway of her home.

In April, several car burglaries were reported in the Stanworth area. As a result, Princeton police will be increasing proactive patrols in various neighborhoods.
