• Two detectives join Morris County Prosecutor's Office (wrnjradio.com) — A former Randolph Police Department patrol officer has been sworn in as one of two new detectives in the Morris County Prosecutor's Office's General Investigations Unit. Salvatore Grosso's experience in investigations, crisis intervention, and life-saving response in Randolph will now support countywide cases. The second appointee, Michael Zangrillo, brings extensive investigative and training credentials from Somerset County agencies.
   

• Randolph Township Council Expresses Support for Local Law Enforcement, Pass Updated Maintenance Code (tapinto.net) — Randolph's Township Council has formally voiced support for local law enforcement and approved an update to the property maintenance code that changes how violations are penalized. Officials also reported completion of major summer projects, including miles of road paving, a Millbrook Avenue water main replacement, and Heistein Park upgrades, ahead of the next council meeting on September 17.
