• YMCA of the Jersey Shore offering the public a free trial during 'Welcoming Week' (themonmouthjournaleastern.com) — Red Bank residents can try the YMCA for free during Welcoming Week, Sept. 10–19, with enrollment fees waived at the Red Bank Family YMCA on Maple Avenue. Expect cultural activities, fitness sessions, hiring fairs, voter registration, and local partner organizations like the Red Bank Public Library and county agencies offering resources and support for all ages.
   

• Red Bank to Honor 25 Years of 9/11 Remembrance on September 11 (tapinto.net) — Red Bank is inviting residents to a 25th anniversary 9/11 remembrance ceremony at Riverside Gardens Park on Friday, Sept. 11, at 9:30 a.m., with an Elks Lodge rain location. The borough is encouraging community-wide participation, including families and first responders, to honor victims and heroes while reflecting together on resilience, service, and unity.
   

• Friday Night Lights: Shore Conference Football Opens With Big Wins Across the Shore (shorenewsnetwork.com) — Red Bank football fans saw a wild opener as Red Bank Catholic exploded late at Count Basie Field, scoring 21 unanswered fourth-quarter points to beat St. Anthony's 62–41. The Shore Conference's first full weekend also brought big wins for Pinelands, Jackson Township, Donovan Catholic, Rumson-Fair Haven, and Shore Regional, setting up intriguing early-season matchups.
