6 A And P-Owned Supermarkets May Close Soon, Report Says
These stores, including the Wayne A&P, have not been bid on as part of A And P's bankruptcy filing, the report said.

The six A&P-owned supermarkets in Bergen and Passaic counties that have not been bid on are expected to begin preparing to close soon, The Record reported.
The A&P stores in Pompton Lakes, Wayne, West Milford, and Woodland Park and the Pathmark stores in Hackensack and Ramsey may be part of a soon-to-be-scheduled clean-up auction, the report states.
No bids have been placed on the stores, which are part of the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company’s bankruptcy filing.

A Pathmark store in Fair Lawn has been sold to its landlord and is also expected to close soon, according to the report.
