Glen Rock Parents Want Air Conditioning To Be Officials' Priority, Report Says
Board of Education is waiting on preliminary cost estimates to install central air systems at several schools.

With temperatures reaching the middle 90s in some classrooms, Glen Rock parents want air conditioning installed in several schools as soon as possible.
Parents at a Board of Education meeting Thursday urged district officials to bump installing air conditioning at Byrd, Central, Coleman, and Hamilton schools to top of their capital projects list, NorthJersey.com reprted. A teacher fainted at the Richard E. Bryd School earlier this month.
One parent wanted to ask trustees and administrators if they would agree to turn off the air conditioning in the district offices until air conditioning is installed in all schools, the report states, but she was not allowed.
