Ridgewood Parking Deck Design To Be Decided Wednesday
Officials informally chose an option that would provide an additional 305 additional parking spaces to be built downtown.

The Village Council will decide on the design of the Hudson Street parking garage at a meeting Wednesday.
The council is considering three design options that would provide a net gain of either 206, 255, or 305 parking spaces and be, at the tallest point, between 56 and 68 feet tall.
The council informally voted 3-2 at a work session last week on an option that would provide a net gain of 305 parking spaces. The parking deck portion of 136,000-square-foot building would be 49 feet tall and the tower at the center of it would be more than 68 feet tall.

An ordinance allowing official to bond $12.3 million for the project will be introduced at the meeting.
Village manager Roberta Sonenfeld said officials are ”envisioning” approving a bond with a 30-year repayment term. The bond will be paid back “principally — if not entirely — with parking revenues.”
