2nd Crash at South Brunswick Intersection In One Week
One week after a man was killed there, there was yet another accident Wednesday morning at Rt. 32 and Cranbury-South River Road.

South Brunswick, NJ - There were heavy traffic delays Wednesday morning in the area of Rt. 32 and Cranbury-South River Road due to a motor vehicle accident at that intersection. And this is the second accident at that same intersection in about a week: Last Tuesday, a 96-year-old man was killed in a car crash at that same junction.
The Wednesday morning accident happened at about 6:45 a.m. and did not result in any serious injuries, Capt. James Ryan of the South Brunswick police said. However, the crash caused delays of about 20 minutes for those looking to enter the NJ Turnpike near there, at exit 8A.
Last Tuesday, Sept. 27, a 96-year-old man was killed when the car his son was driving attempted to make a left hand turn from Rt. 32 onto South River Road. There is a traffic light at that intersection, police said. That accident happened in the afternoon. Police identified the man who died as Ira Rothfarb, 96. Ira was a front-seat passenger in a car driven by his son, Sheldon Rothfarb, 69. Both men live in Monroe.
