• Police In Teaneck Save Trapped Deer (patch.com) — First responders in Teaneck rushed to Maitland Avenue after a deer became trapped in a ground-level window well late Monday morning, freeing and releasing the animal within about 15 minutes. Officials noted that similar deer rescues have happened before in Bergen County, as the animals can easily jump fences and sometimes end up in dangerous spots.
